Subcontractors Qualification
PacTec applies its program requirements to Subcontractors in a graded fashion. This applies to all QA activities associated with Subcontractors, form qualification to QA records.
Subcontractors for category « A » components must have an established QA program consistent with 10 CFR 71 Subpart H. This QA program is reviewed and its implementation is evaluated by QA audit to qualify these Subcontractors. Subtler subcontractors are also qualified by QA audit.
Subcontractors for Category “B” and “C” components need not be qualified in this manner. Instead, only the applicable elements of the QA program
(e.g, QA inspection and nonconformance reporting/resolution) need be applied to such Subcontractors.
